We also volunteer through the Council on Aging of Buncombe County(CoA) to serve older adults in need. If you know some elders in need who cannot otherwise afford technology service, please direct them to the Council on Aging at 828-277-8288 to qualify for free technology teaching and troubleshooting.

ADL tech Tip: Space bar double tap

Here’s a little-known tip that can make your tech life easier. Just tap the space bar twice on your cell phone to end a sentence. 

​A period will appear as if by magic, and the next letter you type will be a capital letter. This works on emails, notes, and text messages on iPhones and Android phones.
